5-Day Visa-Free Belarus
Belarus introduce the 5-day visa-free regime, allowing 80 countries to visit visa free for 5 days.
All the details about the 5 day visa free regime, what to see and where to stay in Minsk and how to get to Mir and Nesvizh using public transport.
Back in January 2017, Belarus President, Alexander Lukashenko, introduced with effect from February 12, 2017, the 5 day visa free regime which would allow citizens of 80 countries to visit Belarus without have to apply for the expensive and trouble-some tourist visa.
There are a few twists but nothing major:
• You must arrive and depart through Minsk International Airport (MSQ).
• In case you need reminding, the 5 days includes arrival and departure day.
• The new regime is not available if you are arriving and/or departing through The Russian Federation.
• You need to have travel insurance but you can/must buy on arrival.
